Pressure dependence of Raman peaks of LaNb0. in low frequency region is in-vestigated up to ?44.6 Kbar at room temperature. The lowest frequency mode showsa remarkable increase in frequency and a decrease in peak intensity, in contrast to twoother peaks. As a result of the considerable frequency change of the lowest mode, thecrossing with a higher frequency mode is observed.
