The dynamical spin susceptibility in the ferromagnetic Heusler alloy X.MnY(Pd.MnSn) is evaluated on the basis of the realistic band structure. The theoreticalresults of sr:>in wave svettra of PdzMnSn mc in :ood a;eement with the exreri-mental ones, as have been for CU2MI1A1. The correlation between the spin densi-ties of d-electrons of Mn is important to the spin waves with small and large qin both Cu.MnAl and PdzMnSn. In PdzMnSn the correlation between the spindensity of d-electrons of Mn and that of conduction electrons is important forthe spin waves with small and large q, but in CU2M0A1 this correlation decreasessi;ificantlv for those with larse t. These different t der>endences of the sr>in-density correlation for Cu.MnA1 and PdzMnSn are consistent with the strongdependence on X atom of the magnetic interactions pointed out by Ishikawaet at.
