Three novel C_<28>-sterol oligoglucosides, named taccasterosides A-C (1-3), were isolated from the rhizomes of Tacca chantrieri (Taccaceae). Their structures were determined by detailed spectroscopic analysis, including 2D NMR data, and a few chemical transformations.
