The fresh bulbs of Fritillaria camtschatcensis have yielded two phenolic glycosides, (2S)-1-O-p-coumaroyl-3-O-β-D-glucopyranosylglycerol (regaloside A) and 3,6'-O-diferoloylsucrose, and two steroidal alkaloids, solanidine 3-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1→2)][β-D-glucopyranosyl(1→4)]-β-D-glucopyranoside and 2β, 3α, 6β-trihydroxy-5α-jervanin-12-ene(kuroyurindin). Kuroyurindine is the first example of the C-nor-D-home steroidal alkaloid from F. camtschatcensis.
