Thermal expansion and naagnetostriction measurements have been done on a heavy-ferunioncornpound Ce(Ruo.ssRho.ns)zSix which shows a spin density wave (SDW) ordering at Tg : 5.6 K.The temperature variation of the lattice constants a and c shows the large decrease below about50 K associated with the formation of the Kondo screening state. At Tg, however, the latticechange becomes almost zero although it decreases very slowly with decreasing the temperature. The magnetostriction along the a- and c-axes with the field applied along the c-axis shows a verysmall change in a low field region and sudden large increase appears above the transition field of3.5 T. The magnitude of magnetostriction at 8 T is nearly the same as that in the non magneticheavy-fermion compound, CeRuzSiz. From these results, it has been found that the volumechange in the SDW state is very small contrary to that in the Kondo screened paramagneticstate,
