• We have groxvn single crystals of CeRhzSi3 and LaRhzSi3 by the Czochralski ptrlling metlaod irta tetra-arc ftrrnace. The electrical resistivity and uaaagnetic strsceptibility are luighly attisotropic,reflecting tl'ue tetragonal crystal strtrcttrre. A metaraaagnetic trarasition is fotrnd for the rnagneticfield along the [001] direction at 26 T.
