Frequency Dependence of the Imaginary Part of the Dynamical Susceqtibility of a Metallic Spin Glass Compound (Ti_<0.9>V_<0.1>)2O_3

The frequency dependence of the imaginary part lm z.(a) of the dynamicalsusceptibility on a spin glass compound (Ti...V...).0. was investigated at1 Hz - 240 Hz. The lm z.(a) is well fitted to the relation that lm zg(a) x cl inthe frequency range measured. When the temperature is decreased, the exponentv changes remarkably from about 1.0 to nearly zero for 0.8<I/7'.<1.1. Thespin autocorrelation function changes from the exponential decay, exp ( - too)at 7'>>7'8 to the alnebraic decav, t-' at TNTs. At Ts, v is 0.19, which differs fromthe predicted value 0.5 of the recent mean-field dynamical theories for spinglasses. The noticeable change in v is, however, qualitatively consistent withthe theories. We also found that the variation in v coincides with that in p, wherep is the measure of the width of the distribution of relaxation times.
