Nonlinear susceptibility -3/4z.h9 as well as the normal susceptibility z. wasmeasured for a spin glass alloy Pt..g.Mn(,.(,. using the Hartshorn bridge. The signof z. was found to be negative. Our result explains the magnetic field dependenceof the susceptibility observed in AuFe."
