Nonlinear Susceptibility and Specific Heat of (PD_<0.9966>Fe_<0.0034>)<0.95>Mn_<0.05>

The linear and nonlinear susceptibilities z'., z'.h. and z'.h9 of (Pd..g.55Fe......)g...Mn.... alloy, were measured around T. (8.0 K). The anomaloustemperature dependence of z'.hQ above and below T. is qualitatively explained by asimple molecular field theory and the field dependence of z'.h9 below T. is wellunderstood by the contribution of the ferromagnetic magnetization in magneticdomains. In the experiment, the susceptibility exponent, 7=l.8f0.2, and the gapparameter, 2J=3.2fO.3, were obtained in an inhomogeneous ferromagnet(Pd ..99 66FC......) ..9 ,Mn...,. The specific heat had a peak value at T., but noanomaly was observed.
