Polarization analysis neutron scattering experiment has been pccrformed toinspect the existence of the temperature-induced local magnetic moment in FeSi.No appreciable increase in spin-flip neutron scattering corresponding to the onsetof the local magnetic rnoment has been observed when the temperature is raisedto 840-850 K.
