A tnagnetic phase diagrana of' 21 Hetrsler tyjve alloy systetaa Cuz(NIn.Tia .)Al with x >0.5has been deterunined by ttaagnetic strscejctibility rneastrretnents. Reentrant spin-glass transiticcnexists oxzer a wide concentration range. Quasi-elastic netrtron scattering naeastrretnents on a single cr'ystal of Cub (IvIng.7gTig.3g)Al, whicla transfortrns psrr;trruagnetic-+f'erromagnetic+spin-glassphases, have shown that a large ntrzaaber of' magnetic cltrsters of' avc->rage size d x 300 A exist inthe f'errortaagnetic phase. On cooling down, the ntrttaber of cltrsters irtcreases and the average sizegradtrally decretrses to d x 200 A at T 'IC::- 10 K. Inelastic nevttron so;rttering naeasurernents haveshown that highly damped spin-wave excitations exist in tlue ferromagnetic phase. The anajclittudeas well as tlae stillness constant of' the sjcin-wave decrease as the tetnperattrre decreases toxvar'd']S.G., which is consistent xvith the m?tcroscopic property. The origitr of' anomalous ternperattur'evariation property of' sjcin-wave pararuaaeters observed in other reentrant spin-glass systerns hatsbeen discussed.
