The reverse photoreaction from batho-intermediate of bacteriorhodopsin hasbeen investigated bv ricosecond laser flash rhotol>zsis at 6.5 K. UPOII excitingbatho-intermediate with 694nm linht rulse of 31:L4PS width, the increase ofabsorbance around 570 nm and concomitant decrease of that arotund 630 nmare observed without delay time. Based on the above result, the models for theprimary photochemical reaction of bacteriorhodopsin arc discussed.
