Magnetic phase transitions in itinerant electron magnets Hf. ,Ta,Fe. havebeen studied from measurements of M6ssbauer effect, magnetization and X-raydiffraction. The first order magnetic phase transition from ferromagnetic toantiferromagnetic state has been observed with increasing temperattu'e in the Taconcentration range 0.1<.X'<0.3. It is concluded that the magnetic phase transi-lions in Hf. -,Ta.Fe. can be interpreted in terms of the recent theoretical resultby Moriya and Usami on magnetic phase transitions in itinerant electron systems.
