Effect of hydrostatic pressure on the phas'e transitions in {N(CD.).}.ZnCl. wasstudied by dielectric measurements. The compound does not show ferroelectricity atl atm, but in a pressure range from 0.03' GPa to 0.13 GPa a ferroelectric phase appears.The pressure-temperature phase diagram of {N(CD.).}.ZnC1. is compatible with thatfound for other ferroelectric tetramethylammonium tetrachlorometallic compounds.
