Pressure Effect on the T^2-Dependence in Electrical Resistivity of Exchange-Enhanced a-Ce

The electrical resistivity of a-Ce was measured ttnder high pressure up t'o 10 kbarand at teznperatures down to 4.2 K. The coefficiexnt of the I"-term in the electricalresistivity, which is related to the exchange enlnancement factor, was obtainedas a function of pressure, and complicated bah;tvior of this term was found inthe pressurizirug and depressurizing processes at 77 K. From the experimentalresults the pressure dependences of the electroxxic specific heat constant 7 andthe magnetic susceptibility z are calculated. The calculated result is found to bein agreement with the experimental values under high pressure.
