Influence of Cooperative Jahn-Teller Effect in CsCuCl_3 Crystals on the Broadening of EPR Lines

EPR spectra of single crystals of CsCuCI. were investigated around the struc-tural phase transition point (?420 K) at X-band frequencies. The magnitudeof linewidth and its anisotropy show that the antisymmetric exchange interactionsdominate for spin dynamics in' both the high- and low-temperature phases. Ar>icture in which the almost static local distortion of lattice persists at>ove thetransition r>oint is rresented to understand the hish-temrerature EPR propertiesin this system.
