Sidebands on EPR Lines in Copper Benzoate

Measurements of a half-field transition in the EPR spectrum in the one-dimensional salt Cu(C.H.C00).-31-1.0 are presented and compared with thetheory developed by Komatsubara and Nagata. The theory accounts in a satis-factory way for the observed anisotropic feature of the non-Zeeman resonanceat room temperature. The temperature dependence of the transition is found to beconsistent with the thcory, too.
