Phenomena related with the metal-nonmetal transition in Si:P system are reviewed. The argument that this transition is an Anderson localization is examined from an experimental point of view and is shown approvable. Detailed study of specific heat and magnetic properties reveals that intrastate Coulomb correlation must be considered in the localized states in samples around the transition. It is suggested that theoretical treatment of the Anderson localization must be extended to include many body effect.
