ミニチュアシュナウザー犬にみられた頭蓋内髄膜腫症例に対するロムスチンの長期化学療法(短報)(内科学)

14歳,雄のミニチュアシュナウザー犬が,右旋回を主訴に来院した.脳のMRI画像診断で間脳に腫痛が認められ,造影剤投与により明らかな線状の増強肥厚部位がみられた.画像診断から,この病変は髄膜腫であることが強く示唆された.患犬はプレドニゾロンとロムスチン(CCNU)の併用療法だけで管理され,診断後13ヵ月間生存した.病理組織学的所見から,この症例は髄膜腫と診断された.この報告では,ロムステンとプレドニゾロンによる治療で長期間生存した間脳・中脳髄膜腫の症例について,臨床所見,画像診断所見および病理学的所見を述べる.
