The decay of "Co to the levels of "Fe has been investigated using low-tempera-ture nuclear orientation in the hyperfine magnetic field in iron. Based on theanisotropies of the 7 rays, the following spin assignments are established: 4"(4100.2- and 4298.0-keV levels) and 3" (4119.8- and 4395.0-keV levels). Multipolemixing ratios of a number of 7 transitions are reported. In addition, upper limitsof the Fermi to Gamow-Teller matrix element ratios of the two 4"-4" electroncapture and p" transitions to the 4100.2- and 4289.0-keV levels are obtained.[ Radioactivity"Co ; measured I,(0) from oriented nuclei.
