Laser-utaicrowave dotmble-resonance spectroscopy of' laser-cooled 'Be" tons in a linear Paul traphas been perf'orttaed airaaing at time developuaaent of both highly sensitive and precise tnethodsto be applied to the unstable isotopes. By the alternative irradiation of laser and zauicrowaveradiation (ptnlsed-wave ua'nethod), high accuracy of 4 x 10 " was obtained in the measureunentof the ground-state magnetic-dipole hyperfine constant (,4) of" Be" ion in a weak magneticfield. By the continuous-wave method, high sensitive detection of the microwave resonance wasdemonstrated. These uaaethods can be coraapletnentarily applied to the rne?rstzrettaents of tunknownhyperfine constants of the tnnstable isotopes for studying the hyperfine anornaly,
