M6ssbauer spectra of "Fe in a single-crystal YbFe.0., an antiferromagnetic Isingspin system on a triangular lattice, were measured below the Neel temperature, T..Outermost groups of absorption spectra, those due to Fe ions in a 3 -F- like state, wereinvestigated extensively as a function of the external magnetic field during measure-ment ('meas) as well as that during cooling (f,...) of the specimen through T.. It isconcluded that there are three kinds of Fe"" ions of equal number, the spins of twoof which are parallel to each other and antiparallel to the other. The effective field atthe nuclei of the majority Fe"" spin is increased by H..... Formation of short-rangeordering of Fe Tons with different valences is suggested, though the details are notclear at present.
