Seebeck coefficients of YFe.0... and YFe.O ..95 were measured from 190 Kto 360 K. In YFe.0... charge and spin orderings occur and in YFe.0. .9 5 onlya spin ordering ,occurs and thus the effects of orderings on Seebeck coefficientwere clearly observed in those oxides. At higher temperatures, coefficients ofboth specimens become negative and their absolute values increase with tem-perature as those of Ce. ,S.. The data of YFe.0... resemble those of Fe.O.below the Verwey transition temperature. The coefficient of YFe,O3.g, decreasesas the temperature is decreased below the Neel temperature.
