C.H. was reacted over metallic K..,Mo0. and insulating K...,Mo0, to see if there isa correlation between the selectivity of the chemical reaction and the conductivity ofthe catalyst. In contrast to Na.WO, there seems to be no correlation between thetwo. The disappearance of the correlation was discussed based on the electronic pro-perty of K....MoO. and it was suggested that the absence of the correlation might besuperficial. The insulating property of K..,Mo0. was discussed from a view point ofthe chemical reaction.
