Electronic Band Structure of C_8K Studied by Angle-Resolved Ultraviolet Photoelectron Spectroscopy

Angle-resolved ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy has been performed for aC.K single crystal. The dispersive m'-band near the K point and the so-called K 4sband around the F point are experimentally identified. The experimentally determin-ed band structure has been compared with two different band calculations to discussthe charge transfer in C.K. The observed difference in the spectral feature of the 'K4s' band between the experiment and the calculation are also discussed.
