The do Haas-van Alrhen (dHvA) effect in CsK, C36K and C+sK has beenstudied. Five dHvA periods in C48K and two periods in C35K are observed, each of which has the angular dependence being c:lose to cos 0, where 0 sta.nds forthe angle between the c-axis and the magnetic fiel,d. These periods are interpretedin terms of the rigid band model based on the tlu'ee-dimensional graphite bandadded by the band folding due to the c-axis supc>rlattice of the intercalate layers. In C8K, one period is observed and interpreted by the cylindrical Fermi surfacewhich is given in the band calculation by [noshi1.a et at. The charge transfer ratefrom potassium to the graphite band is estimate?J as 0.21 for C..K and 0.17 forC36K from these dHvA periods.
