Two concplemexttary pictures for the resonance Raman scattering are px=esented, corresponding to two different ways of decomposing the four-tinte correlationfunction of dipole ncoment for this second-order process into a pair of two-tincecorrelation functions. One is to take the auto-correlation of polarizability follow-inn the senai-classical r:>icture for R8111811 scatterinx and exr:>and it in powers ofintra-svstem courlinn; how the Raman sr>ectra of hinher ox"ders ar>rroach the so-called luncinescence is shown in the weak and strong coupling linaits. Another isto stttdy the correlation between absorption and emission processes; one can seehow the relaxation of the strong coupled system after photoexcitation is reflectedin the time-resolved emission spectra.
