Measurements of Ferromagnetic resonance are made on amorphous thinfilms of Gd. ,.Fe. alloy at room temperature. Their values of y-factor and magne-tic anisotropy field are obtained as functions of composition. It is found that thecompensation composition x..-, at room temperature decreases owing to amagnetic deactivation of Gd under the influence of residual gases during filmdeposition and furthermore decreases with the lapse of time owing to the samedeactivation in air. In spite of the change in x..,.., their values of y-factorsatisfy the Tsuya-Wangsness formula over a wide range of composition.
