The thertnal exp;tnsion and temperaxttrre dependence of electrical resistivity were uneastrred forEuNi*(Si? .Ge.)x, xvIuic[a shoxvs 2% valence transition against tenaperatttre in 0.5<r<0.82. Afirstorder phase transitiotu XV2LS observed ira tlae tetaaperature dependence of the lattice parataaeters ol'I : 0.79 and 0.82, xvhile the lattice parataaeters vary contitatrotrsly xvith tetaaperattrre for r<0.70.Tlue teanperature dejceuadence of' electrical resistivity SIIONVS a peak at the valence transitionteunperattrre. The origin of the peak is disctrssed on the batsis of the dynamic alloy model.
