Electronic Properties of Polysilane Calculated with the Real-Time Real-Space Higher-Order Finite-Difference Method

• We use the real-time real-space higher-order finite-difference method to calculate the electronic properties of helix-type polysilane chains that are made up of sections of different helicity. The absorption spectra show fine structures that are associated with section boundaries.
