For the isotropic Heisenberg model with an arbitrary spin S, the correlation exponent ν defined by ξ 〜T^<-ν< near the critical point T_c=0 is evaluated as ν=1 with the use of the real space renormalization group method. This yields γ=2 for the susceptibility exponent γ defined by χ_0〜T^<-γ>, using the scaling relation γ=1+(2-η)ν=1+ν. Our general result γ=2 for all values of spin S includes Fisher's result in the classical limit S→∞. For the anisotropic Heisenberg model (XXZ model) with a spin S=1/2, an anisotropy scaling law is derived.
