From the reaction mixtures of sulfonamides [3,5-(<I>t</I>-Bu)<SUB>2</SUB>C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>3</SUB>NHSO<SUB>2</SUB>C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>4</SUB>CH<SUB>3</SUB>-<I>p</I> and 3,5-(<I>t</I>-Bu)<SUB>2</SUB>C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>3</SUB>NHSO<SUB>2</SUB>CH<SUB>3</SUB>] with di-<I>t</I>-butyl diperoxyoxalate, dimers of <I>N</I>-sulfonylaminyls were isolated as pure crystals which, in solution, dissociated into the corresponding <I>N</I>-sulfonylaminyls upon heating to 60 °C.
