From stems of Elaeagnus glabra THUNB., the following compounds were isolated and identified; oleanolic acid, ursolic acid, arjunolic acid, β-sitosterol and its β-D-glucopyranoside. β-Sitosterol and ursolic acid were also isolated from the leaves of this plant. These compounds were isolated for the first time from this plant.
