A new HPLC procedure was developed for the quantitative analysis of the constituents of Scutellaria ikonnikovii JUZ. (Labiatae). The seasonal variation of the flavonoid contents was studied on Scutellaria ikonnikovii JUZ. collected in Jilin Prov., China. The flavonoid contents were lower in the root than in the aerial part and were the highest in July in all parts of the plant.
