Determination of Surface-active Agents. VIII. Infrared Determination of the Proportion of Ethylene Oxide and Propylene Oxide in Pluronic

A new determination method of the proportion of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide in Pluronic was devised, the stretching bands of methyl and methylene group being used as the key bands. The proportion was determined within an error of ±5% without regard to the difference of molecular weight of propylene oxide condensate.
