• lVIotion of the vortex-ctrrrent filataaents is exanained via cutoff Blot-Savart ntrrnerical IVIHDsinmttlations of single ?tnd dotrble filaraaents. We have introdtrced a vortex-current filautaent Icyanalogy with the vortex fil?trment. The xvortex-ctrrrent filataaent consists of electric current densityand vorticity which are p?trallel to the ?txis of' the filauaaent. Attention is needed to detnonstrate thedi[I'erence loetween vortex and vortex-ctrrrent filaunents. In this paper we present txvo nunaericalrestrlts of vortex-ctrrrent filatnent tnotion. ' ctrtoff Blot-Savatrt method. In the litaait of no11Sll1Cfbelectric ctrrrent. the txvo restrlts are in good agreettaezut with xzortex filament systems. The firstrestrlt is obtained f'or two circtrlar ring filataaents. Here we find there are sorne c?rses where theqtralitative characteristics of the taaotion are trtachanged by introdtrcing electric cttrrent alongthe vorticity. On the other hand, the period of the ra?trttra1 slipping naotion of' the filaraaents ischanged. The second resttlt is related to oscillation of' an elliptic ring filament which is wellknown phenomenon of the "ptrre" vortex filataaent. It is remarkable that the period of oscillationbecotnes infinite ;tt 21 critical electric ctrrrent inside the filataaent.
