Comparison between 3p-XPS and 3d-XPS of LaAl_2,CeAl_2 and CeRu_2

• The 3p-XPS and the 3d-XPS of LaAl. Cell. and CeRu. are measured using undulator radiation at the Photon Factory. The obtained data are analyzed satisfactorily with the use of the impurity Anderson model. From the analysis for CeRu., the3p and 3d core-hole potentials acting on 4f electrons are found to be almost the same.
