Thermalization process of the singlet excitons in NaNOx has been re-investigated by meansof time-resolved spectroscopy with trse of tinae correlated single photon counting rtaethod undernear resonant excitation in the range of 4.5K '? l8K. Below IOK, the shape of the excitonluminescence line shows little change and is kept narrow, Above 12 K, the exciton line becomesbroader with the evolution of tirne. Thermalization time was estimated from the time evoltrtionof the width of the exciton line. It has been found that the thermalization time is proportionalto T . This fact shows that the exciton thertmalization is catrsed by the two-acoustic phononscattering. Frorn the spectra excited in the region of phonon sideband, it has been fotrnd thatthe exciton shows A'-dependent decay tinae at 4.5 K and the A'-dependence is smeared otrt by therapid thernaalization process above 15 K.
