Phonon Sidebands of v_<00>Line in Absorption and Luminescence Spectra of NaNO_2:Spatial Dispersion of v_<00>Exciton

Profiles of the phonon sidebands associated with the "oo line in the singlet absorp-lion and luminescence spectra of NaN0. have been investigated by the measurementof high resolution spectra at 2 K. It is confirmed that energy separations of prominentpeaks of the absorption sideband from the 'oo line are larger than those of the corre-sponding peaks of the luminescence sideband by 2 - 9 cm '. From the result the bandwidth of the v.. exciton is estimated to be 3 - 5 cm '. Profiles of vibronic lines in theluminescence spectrum are discussed in connection with the spatial dispersion of thel'oo CXC1t0I1.phonon sideband, exciton, spatial dispersion, NaN0.
