An Observation of Quantized Series of Step or Clew Temperatures in Superconductive-Conjugate Photoconductivity of Cu_2O

Details of the temperature dependences of transient photoconductivity Q(T, ))with that of Hall mobility p. (7' ) of photoexcited carriers in Cu.O at low power levelof )..= 570-735 nm have been reexamined over a wide temperature range between 4.2and 300 K in order to clarify the natures of "supercondcutive-conjugate photoconductivity". Selective optical excitation at low levels of ,ll..=570-750 nm creates either afree electron and a positive hole or mainly free holes in Cu.O. By carefully analyzingthese data, we have recognized for the first time a novel quantized series of "StepTemperatures T,." in Q(T, 2) wuth "Clew Temperatures T,.=", in the photoexcitedholes density n.(T, ,11) in Cu.O as T decreases. A series of the values of T,. or T,., ispossibly ruled by a type of condensation of valence electrons and free photocarriersinto new states mediated via surrounding intraband CT-excitons of Cu.0. Here, wepropose a new concept of "the excitonic isomer shift of superconductive T,..".
