A cyclotron resonance ex.periment of polarons in AgBr has been performed at34 GHz over the temperature ra.nge 2'='23 K with pulsed laser exci'tation up to theexcitation density Gx10" photons/cm'sec. A remarkable broaclening of reso-nance line at high density excitation is interpreted in terms of the j>olaron-excitoninteraction from the energy dependence and the magnitude of the scatteringprobability. A numerical analysis of the kinetics of the polaron-?exciton systemsupports this interpretation. Time resolved measurements were performed innanosecond region. At high levels of excitation, a nonresonant ab:;orption due tounknown origin was observed at the delay time T.= 15 nsec.
