Variations of optical absorption and especially of photoltnrninescence spectrar of' C1120 withphotoexcitation wavelength and ternper?tttrre have been for the first time investigated in details. We have newly observed that the relation of the increase and decrease with temperature inthe integrated intensity is complernentary with each other between the luttainescernce-lcand VC..and the X0- T.4 exciton lurninescence over T : 4.2 -230 K, and the relative rnagnitudes ofthe intensity of' the band VC.. and Vf cross over each other ?tt the vicinity of the energylevel of exciton, A x 610 nrn. We recognize the evidences of' the recotnbination processes of theexcitons coupled with vacancies levels. These phenornena indicate universal natures even amongthe different qtrality of' specimens. Thtns, we reqtmest a consideration based on the many-bodyaspect.
