Hierarchical Control Modeling of Automated Guided Vehicle System (AGVS) using Colored Petri Net

This study is aimed at investigating an Automated Guided Vehicle System (AGVS) with hierarchical control structure. Due to stochastic nature of the system, online scheduling using colored Petri net (CPN) methodology has been carried out for the AGVS. The system model has been simulated and some initial results have been presented.
