In order to see the physical and mechanical properties of sintered NiAl, oxidation resistance, axial rupture by compression, transverse rupture by bending and absorption energy by Charpy test were examined. The following results were obtained : (1) the oxidation resistance of sintered NiAl was stronger than those of N-155, 25-20 and sintered CoAl ; (2) NiAl cold-pressed at 5 t/cm^2 and sintered at 1400℃ for 5 hrs was fractured by compressive stress of about 15t/cm^2 ; (3) the absorption energy generally increased when the testing temperature was raised above 600℃.
