The extraction of usual metallic ions by methyl isobutyl ketone was examined. Possibilities of the extraction of various chlorides in hydrochloric acid solution were tested and experiments of the extraction of detectable metallic ions, such as iron (III), antimony (III, V), arsenic (III, V), selenium (IV), Tellurium (IV), germanium (IV), chromium (VI), vanadium (V), molybdenum (VI), manganese (VII), were made by varying the concentration of various acids or mixed acid, and the extraction coefficient in those cases and the most suitable conditions of the extraction of their elements were obtained.
