Systematic APW band calculations are carried out for the non-magnetic states of in-tercalation compounds M.z,TiS. (M=Mn,Fe,Co,Ni), and differences andsimilarities of the electronic band structures for different intercalant M atoms areclarified. The results obtained explain various physical properties observed forM. 7.TiS..
