Thermoelectric Power of the Anderson Model at Low Temperatures

The thermoelectric power for the dilute impurity system is calculated at low temper-atures by means of the Bethe-Ansatz solution of the Anderson model. The effect ofthe Coulomb interaction is investigated with the use of the single-orbital Andersonmodel. The orbitally degenerate case is investigated as well with the use of the highlycorrelated model adequate for the Ce(Yb) impurity system. The giant thermoelectricpower is discussed with the results obtained for the enhancement factor and the renor-malized /-level position.
