Higher-Spin Generalization of Fractional Exclusion Statistics

We study fractional exclusion statistics for SU(2) symmetric quantum systems of arbitraryspin S by generalizing the therrnodynamic equations with sqvueezed strrngs proposed by Ha andHaldane, The bare hole distributions as well as the statustucal interaction defined by an infinite-dimensional matrix specify the universality class. It is shown that the systeun is described bythe level-2.5 WZW model and has a close relationship to non-abelian fractional quantum Hallstates. From a low-energy effective theory of otrr higher-spin model, the sector of massless Z2.5parafermions is extracted, whose statistical interaction is given by a finite-dimensional matrux,
