Critical properties in the dynautaical charge correlation function for the one-diraaensional klottinsulator are studied. By properly taking account of tlt.e final-state interaction between tlaecharge and spin degrees of freedom, we find that the edge singularity in the charge correlationftrnction is governed by naassless spinon excitations, altlnottgh it is naively expected that [1-uespinons do not directly contribvrte to the charge excitation over the Ilubbard gap. We obtain timenuort?entutn-dependent anotnalotrs critical exponent by apjclying the finite-size scaling analysis tothe Bethe ansatz solution of the half'-flitted Htr].cbard tnodel.
