The equilibrium thermodynamic equations for the highly correlated degenerateAnderson model are obtained on the basis of the Bethe-Ansatz method, in thepresence of the magnetic field and the crystal field. These equations are treatedanalytically at low temperatures and the general expression for the specific heatis obtained, which shows the Fermi-liquid properties. As a simple example, thepresent theory is applied to the case of the Ce impurities in a cubic crystal field. The present formalism is also applicable to the case where the spin-orbit couplingexmsts.
